     What an early Christmas treat the Sound Fusion Chorale has prepared for friends! Let us join them on Oct. 12, 2008, Sunday, 8pm at the Main Theatre of the Cultural Center of the Philippines as it captures the essence of joy and virtuosity from professional chorale singing.  Witness how SFC will once again equate beautiful music with live, uplifting renditions, an occasion of good coming to life.

     In this concert, SFC pays a loving tribute to St. Pius X, Patron of the Parish it has been serving for 30 years now.  The Parish celebrates its 40^th Founding Anniversary this year. And living up to its name, SFC still continues to impressively blend religious songs at every 5pm Sunday Mass, earning for itself the distinction as the most competent, crowd-drawing choir of the Parish.

     The Chorale had staged two major concerts: Tonight’s The Night in 1982 at the Philamlife Theater and Diwa ng Pasko in 1989 at the Concordia College Auditorium. It had also capped major awards: 3 Grand Prizes from the Manila Citywide Competition of the DSWD, the 1994 Christmas Chorale Competition of the Robinson’s Mall in Manila, and the 1998 Himig at Sining ng Simbahan ng Maynila Chorale Competition of the Ecclesiastical District of Manila, respectively.  Plush hotels have also engaged SFC’s services at Christmas time since 1983. In 1994, the group recorded and released its First Christmas Album under Quantum Records. But the most important achievement ever given to SFC was when its members were accorded by the Department of Tourism the title “Ambassadors of Goodwill” for the Phil. Festival in Seoul Korea from 1996 to 1997.

     This 2008 concert will also bring to fore some of the Recording Industry’s mainstream artists in the likes of Jamie Rivera, the country’s Inspirational Diva; Isay Alvarez and Robert Sena of the Ms. Saigon fame; Bo Cerrudo who recently soared high via his Cerrudo Classico Series; Lindsay Custodio, singer- actress; Sam Concepcion, Little Big Star Singing Champion; Christine Escudero, gorgeous and talented- wife of Senator Chiz Escudero; Vernie Varga, the Jazz Diva; Dulce the Singing Queen of Philippine Movies and Christopher de Leon, multi-award actor.  The whole repertoire will be assisted by the Manila Session Orchestra (members of MSO & former San Miguel Orchestra) and under the skillful musical direction of Noel Espenida. Giving his expertise in stage direction is Adrian Panganiban.
