As a response to complaints about the “E73” error as well as other general hardware failures, Microsoft will grant all systems experiencing this error an extended three-year warranty.

This means that the company will cover repairs or give out free replacements of defective units on the duration of the warranty extension.

For those who have already gotten their gaming consoles repaired, Microsoft will also give a refund.
